Clifford Park GLA / Denise Kable Campus
Project Summary
We were delighted to deliver the new campus for Denise Kable Learning Centre which provides a unique alternative learning context for students who are at risk of, or have, disengaged from mainstream education.
The campus includes the construction of two buildings which consists of five general learning areas with gated outdoor breakout and collaborative space, trade workshop, hospitality kitchen and administrative facilities for staff and visiting specialists. A large landscaped centre court and modern outdoor play area connect the buildings and provides outdoor learning opportunities.
The Clifford Park Special School provides education for students with diagnosed and verified intellectual disabilities. We were honoured to have delivered a new general learning building for this campus which included six general learning rooms each supported by their own amenities.
The GLA’s are grouped in pairs with a kitchen and collaborative breakout room interconnecting the classrooms. Supporting the teaching staff were the inclusion of administrative, meeting and general amenities
