Coles Varsity Lakes

The project is bordered by multi-residential units and high traffic flow passing the site daily which was a key consideration in our demolition and delivery methodology. We left the existing wall structures until the end of demolition to assist in noise suppression and also provided a detailed traffic management plan to ensure the safety of all footpath and road users for deliveries on site.

The site presented a challenge of an 8+ metre fall to the rear of site, which was resolved through innovative architecture by Powe Architects by using a suspended slab structure, creating under-croft parking to the rear of site which allowed for street activation, which was enhanced through the use of architectural claddings, screening, lighting and landscaping.
