Mantra at Sharks is a landmark hotel with 120 suites across four levels, featuring the Aviary Rooftop Bar and The Nest, an open air green space overlooking the Southport Sharks AFL playing fields and with skyline views of Surfers Paradise.
Mantra at Sharks is a landmark hotel with 120 suites across four levels, featuring the Aviary Rooftop Bar and The Nest, an open air green space overlooking the Southport Sharks AFL playing fields and with skyline views of Surfers Paradise. The hotel is located in the heart of the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct and is a short drive from Surfers Paradise, Broadwater and major theme parks, as well as walking distance from Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus and two major hospitals. The western façade features a unique art wall and a striking porte cochere with canopy skylights to create an eye catching entry foyer for guests.
We completed this development for our client Southport Sharks and project superintendent RPS Group, and with commissioned architects GSA Group. Through careful program management, close communication with the client and being proactive to their needs and requirements, we completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule. Mantra at Sharks opened their doors in March 2018, with the hotel’s official opening timed to welcome guests for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in April.
