Novus Precast Manufacturing Facility
Project Summary
Drawing on a longstanding partnership, Novus Precast engaged McNab to deliver its new 5,864m² manufacturing facility at Wellcamp in the Darling Downs.
The 5,443sqm facility, situated on a 35,700sqm site, comprises a warehouse with 12.5-metre-high ceilings, multiple overhead gantry cranes and a two-storey office overlooking the production floor. Designed to accommodate significant loads from cranes and manufacturing equipment, the facility combines operational efficiency and safety with the demanding requirements of a high-performance manufacturing environment.
A key architectural highlight is the precast concrete façade, which uses specially crafted moulds to capture the natural grain of timber. The design achieves a varied, organic pattern that avoids repetition. Rounded precast columns frame the office frontage, showcasing Novus Precast’s expertise and signature product range.
Delivered on time and within budget, the facility provides Novus Precast with a purpose-built home to support its continued growth across Queensland and Australia.
