McNab were awarded this major Q Block Upgrade at Queensland University of Technology’s Gardens Point Campus.
The project involved a floor-by-floor demolition and fit-out over nine levels, plus a 150 seat capacity Superlab, all while classes and research continued within the building.
The project also included a new main entrance, new link bridge, medical radiation services facilities, simulated computer lab, main switchboard, external painting, amenities upgrade and landscaping.
The intensive 21 week program was completed successfully with internal handover being achieved prior to QUT’s exam period.
