Stockland Baringa Homes
Project Summary
We partnered with Stockland Living to construct 33 Class 1a Townhouses across 4 Buildings in Baringa at the Sunshine Coast, as part of Stockland Aura, one of Australia's largest master planned communities.
All terrace style homes have three bedrooms and front and rear access, with a mixture of single and double garage to the rear street. Internal finishes are of mid to high level with modern, polished concrete a feature on the ground floor of all units.
McNab was contacted by Stockland, an existing longterm client, in November 2021 when the incumbent builder went into receivership. Under a 'Make Safe' Agreement, McNab took possession of the site and secured it over the 2021 Christmas period, resuming mid-January. From there, we undertook a review of all unfinished works, in close collaboration with Stockland, to assess and ascertain any remediation required before construction could safely recommence. Following this, we conducted a cost planning procedure which included third party compliance inspections and market testing to form scope and budget for Stockland.
The client was extremely satisfied with our process and the project was completed in May 2023
