Project Summary
This premium retirement living development delivered a sophisticated community-focused environment comprising a mix of spacious two and three-bedroom apartments alongside seven exclusive dual-storey townhouses.
The project featured extensive blockwork and in-situ concrete construction, complemented by an architectural façade with bespoke feature screens and sandstone feature walls wrapping the entire ground floor perimeter.
A significant challenge was the construction of the undercroft basement, which required careful programme management due to its complex sequencing. To maintain overall project momentum, construction of an alternate building structure was brought forward while the extended undercroft works progressed. Additional technical challenges arose during footing construction, where the required 800kPa bearing capacity was only achieved at depths greater than anticipated, necessitating further excavation and resources.
Designed to enhance resident lifestyle, the development included integrated European appliances throughout, dedicated golf buggy parking, a private wine room, cafe-style seating areas, a BBQ and outdoor entertaining space, a small library and an enclosed dog park.
