Positioned in the heart of South Brisbane, Trellis by Aria is a 12-storey, 110 apartment high end residential community embracing sustainable living and urban connectivity through ingenious design.
An open plan conservatory replaces the traditional podium level, providing natural light and ventilation, with curated landscaped gardens connecting pedestrians and residents to the space. The rooftop communal area features an infinity pool, spa, gym and shared barbeque facilities which is lusciously landscaped to create a resort like feel.
Sustainable design elements throughout the building including 65kw solar, high performance glazing, bike storage facilities, rainwater harvesting and natural ventilation which will significantly reduce ongoing building costs.
This project was based on a unique maze design, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Sliding doors are equipped with sloped door tracks, specifically engineered to channel water away from the unit and to a waterproof cement catchment. The building also includes fabric awnings located on either side of the building, these awnings are designed to automatically rise in the event of a fire alarm activation.
